Information on DDP Costs

We now offer a service called DDP Free, where IDS are currently paying all customs and duties for orders in many € paying countries. With this service, you will only need to pay the order total, the taxes on the items (subject to country VAT) and a shipping fee, which is dependent on the order total:

Under €150 - €10 for a DHL Global Mail service (5-15 working day delivery time)

€20 for a DHL Economy Select service (3-5 working days delivery time)

Between €150 and €499.99 - €30 for a DHL Economy Select service (3-5 working days delivery time)

Over €500 - Free shipping DHL Economy Select service (3-5 working days delivery time)

If a quicker delivery service is required, we can offer DHL Express Worldwide, however this would require a quote from our transport team before dispatch.

We advise providing a VAT number, if you have one. Also we strongly advise applying for an EORI number, which can be done free of charge through your local government website. This will help ensure the swift delivery of your parcel and lessen the delay at customs.

We cannot guarantee that you do not receive contact from customs as you may need to verify information or to confirm your EORI number, VAT number etc, but you shouldn't be asked to pay any additional amounts from customs. Please note that customers in Germany will now require an EORI number for orders to be imported through customs.

Customers in France need to provide an EORI number and VAT reference number, or an exemption letter if exempt from VAT.
