Click on "My Categories" on the navigation panel on the left to access your products page.
Your products will not be display on the frontend of your store unless they are in a category.
To make it clearer for you students and parents to know which products they should order, we recommend you create categories for each Genre you teach and then create subcategories under each of these, for each Grade (if applicable).
To create a new category, click on the root category (the one with your school’s name) and select add subcategory.
Then type in the name of your new subcategory. The example here shows we have named it ‘Ballet’ (this is where all my ballet products would go).
If you do not require subcategories (for Grades) under this category, you can now add the products you require to display in this category, by clicking on the category products tab. This will bring up a full list of all the products you have added to your store and by ticking the boxes on the right-hand side they will be selected in this category. When you have finished selecting, click the blue ‘Save Category’ button on the right.
If you do require subcategories (for Grades) under this category, click save category.
Then select the category you have just created from the My Categories list and select add subcategory. Then type in the name of your new subcategory. Now add the products you require to display in this subcategory, by clicking on the category products tab. This will bring up a full list of all the products you have added to your store and by ticking the boxes on the right-hand side they will be selected in this subcategory. When you have finished selecting, click the blue ‘Save Category’ button on the right.
Ensure all your categories and subcategories are marked as ACTIVE (Is Active = YES) so that they display on your store, any inactive categories will appear red in the list.
Tip: To increase your sales we recommend adding an Accessories/Gifts category and populating it with dance bags, hair accessories, gifts etc.
